No. Revolutionary Spam is a full replacement. It scores every comment and form submission on your own server, so you can deactivate Akismet and stop paying for it entirely. If you'd rather run both, they coexist fine and our quarantine respects Akismet's verdict.
It happens rarely, and that's exactly why nothing is deleted automatically. Flagged items land in the quarantine sorted by score. A genuine comment that scored high sits near the bottom of the list, clearly marked, and restores to its thread in one click.
Never. All scoring runs locally and no comment text, email or IP leaves your WordPress install. That keeps you GDPR-safe and means the filter keeps working even with no internet connection to a remote service.
