Yes. The front end is a small slice of vanilla JavaScript driving CSS transforms. Nothing depends on jQuery, so the slider keeps working even on themes that have dropped it entirely.

It shouldn't. Every slide reserves its space with a fixed aspect ratio, images carry width and height, and off-screen slides lazy load. A slider scores on Cumulative Layout Shift the same as a single static image.

Arrows and dots are genuine buttons with clear labels, the slider exposes the correct ARIA carousel roles, arrow keys move between slides, and autoplay pauses on focus. It also respects the visitor's reduced-motion preference automatically.
